Ops Bersepadu launched at Tapah RnR

The Ops Bersepadu and Road Safety Campaign was launched today by the Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, in conjunction with the national Chinese New Year celebration this year. Themed “Pandu Cermat, Sampai Selamat”, various government agencies and strategic partners are playing their role to ensure education, enforcement, prevention and monitoring will help to raise awareness on road safety and reduce crash on roads.

SJAM will be stationed at selected highways for first aid standby duty on 18 & 19 January as well as 1 & 2 February for the festive season. In Perak, SJAM ambulances will be stationed at Taiping, Tapah, Gopeng and Teluk Intan.

Strategic partners including St. John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM) in Perak attended the official launch, represented by the Area Commander for Central Area, Perak, Mr. Chan Weng Hoong.

Also attended were Perak state executive council member, YB Dato’ Abdul Yunus Jamahri and Acting State Secretary for SJAM Perak, Mr. Voon Yeow Hong.
