Get certified in first aid (22 & 23 February 2020)

A 2-day First Aid at Workplace course will be held at the State Headquarters.

Date: 22nd – 23rd February 2020 (Sat-Sun)
Time: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Venue: Training Room (Level 2), SJAM Perak Headquarters, 134, Jalan Raja Musa Aziz, 30300 Ipoh, Perak.

Syllabus

The 2-day First Aid at Workplace covers syllabus below:

  • First Aid Priorities
  • Management of Wounds & Bleeding
  • Management of Internal Bleeding & Shock
  • Difficulty in Breathing
  • Loss of Consciousness
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Injuries to Bones and Soft Tissues
  • Burns & Scalds
  • Poisoning
  • Eye, Ear & Nose Injuries

Skills sessions include:

  • Dressing & Bandaging
  • CPR, Recovery Position & Choking
  • Management of fractures
  • Lifting & Handling of casualty

Certification valid for 3 years

At the end of the course, an assessment will be conducted to certify participants. Upon passing the assessments, a certificate will be issued by SJAM National Headquarters and certification lasts for a 3-year validity period.

Registration fee: RM300 per pax
Deadline: 13th February 2020
